How Ozone Therapy works

The potent disinfectant action of ozone O3 easily oxidises glycoproteins & lipoproteins. Ozone therapy disrupts the integrity of any bacterial cell envelope through oxidation of the phospholipids and lipoproteins

Ozone attacks lipids, and damages the viral capsid so that the viruses cannot repair that damage. Therefore it upsets the reproductive cycle by disrupting the virus-to-cell contact with peroxidation.

Ozone modulates the immune system through inducing metabolites (ozonites) that create cytokine synthesis such as interferon’s and interleukins which migrate through the lymphoid system.

These cells are then  replaced with healthy cells.

This is a very important process because it prevents any virus infection from becoming chronic, bringing the immune system back into balance, allowing the weak enzyme coatings on cells, which are vulnerable to invasion by viruses, to easily oxidize and be elimination from the body.

Stimulation of oxygen metabolism: Ozone therapy causes an increase in the red blood cell glycolysis rate. This leads to the stimulation of 2,3-diphosphoglycerate which leads to an increase in the amount of oxygen released to the tissues. Ozone activates the Krebs cycle by enhancing oxidative carboxylation of pyruvate, stimulating production of ATP. It also causes a significant reduction in NADH and helps to oxidize cytochrome C. There is a stimulation of production of enzymes which act as free radical scavengers and cell-wall protectors: glutathione peroxidase, catalase and superoxide dismutase. Production of prostacyline, a vasodilator, is also induced by O3   Please follow link for more information

Activation of the immune system: Ozone administered at a concentration of between 30 and 55 μg/cc causes the greatest increase in the production of interferon and the greatest output of tumor necrosis factor and interleukin-2. The production of interleukin-2 launches an entire cascade of subsequent immunological reactions.

Mechanism of action of O3 on the human lung: Ozone exposure induces a significant mean decrement in vital capacity. It significantly increases mean airway resistance and specific airway resistance but does not change dynamic or static pulmonary compliance or viscous or elastic work. It also significantly reduces maximal trans pulmonary pressure. And further more significantly increases respiratory rate and decreased tidal volume.

Ozone Uses

Practitioners of ozone therapy, use gas or liquid forms of ozone to treat different kinds of medical conditions and also used as a topical disinfectant. Other uses includes and is not limited too…

The treating of

  • treating arthritis
  • fighting viral diseases, such as HIV and SARS
  • disinfecting wounds
  • activating the immune system
  • treating ischemic heart disease
  • treating macular degeneration
  • treating cancer

An Ozone sauna is a highly affective manner of administrating ozone gas to a person’s body.  The person will be seated inside the machine with only the body covered, whilst being steamed with H2O and Ozone gas. The heat allows for the persons pours to open and raises the heart rate to produce personal sweating. The machine is set to maintain a constant temperature, and last for approximately 25 – 30 min. During the sweating phase the ozone gas penetrates the skin and passes through the persons body whilst removing free radicals and repairing cells through the charged oxygen particles. Once the process has been completed the machine is turned off and the person is free to climb out of the box. When leaving the box a person need to take care not to breath in the ozone air released once the doors are opened because ozone irritates the airways, large quantities of Ozone breathed in directly will have negative side effects.

Side effects

Side effects associated with ozone therapy can vary depending on the type of treatment a person undergoes.

People should never inhale ozone. If it enters the mouth, nose, or eyes, it can burn and cause coughing, nausea, vomiting, or headaches. More severe exposure can lead to respiratory complications.

People who undergo ozone therapy sometimes experience the Herxheimer reaction. This can make the individual have flu-like symptoms and but only lasts for a short-term.

Benefits of Ozone Therapy

Ozone therapy is very simple and extremely effective due to its use of charged oxygen. When an ozone molecule comes in contact with a pathogen, be it a virus, bacteria, protozoa, or fungus it quickly begins the process of oxidation. This rapid oxidation compromises the structure of the pathogen and kills it. The interaction between ozone and the tissues of the mouth has also been proven to increase blood flow and trigger immune responses. As a result patients who undergo ozone therapy heal much faster than those who do not.

  • Energy production. Low doses of ozone lipoperoxides gently stress your mitochondria, making them stronger and more efficient at producing energy.
  • Faster wound healing. Ozone speeds up wound healing, and is especially useful for chronic or treatment-resistant wounds.
  • Brain function. Lipoperoxides can cross the blood-brain barrier and reach your brain, which has a huge concentration of mitochondria. That could explain why ozone therapy helps people recover brain function after a stroke. Ozone therapy also increases blood flow to your brain, which will further boost your mitochondria. I felt a dramatic and almost immediate improvement in my brain function after doing ozone therapy.
  • Anti-mold, antibacterial, antimicrobial, and anti-parasitic effects. Ozone treatment started out as a way to sterilize drinking water. Researchers quickly realized that it also treats bacterial infections, even when bacteria are resistant to antibiotics, and kills parasites. Ozone completely removes toxic mold and mycotoxins as well, which is why I originally got into ozone therapy. At the time, it was the only thing I’d found that helped me recover from toxic black mold exposure.
  • Decreased inflammation. It seems strange that flooding your body with free radicals decreases inflammation, but it’s true. The key is getting the right dose. Low levels of ozone stress your cells just enough to make them stronger; they produce glutathione and superoxide dismutase, two of the strongest antioxidants in the human body. Low-level ozone also activates heat shock proteins, the same anti-inflammatory proteins that turn on when you use a sauna.
  • Strong teeth and gums. The combination of antibacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits makes ozone a powerful way to upgrade your teeth and gums. A lot of forward-thinking dentists offer ozone therapy. In fact, it was a dentist who introduced me to ozone therapy and taught me how to do it.

    Ozone Therapy

    What is Ozone Therapy

Ozone therapy refers to a type medical practices that use ozone gas to increase the health and wellness of a persons body. This alternative medical treatment introduces ozone into the body via a steaming methodology, involving a mixture Co2 gasses and natural O2 gases extracted from purified steamed liquid (H2O) before bodily injection (steam passing through the body).

There are also other potential routes for internal inclusion of the Ozone, for example the vagina, rectum, intramuscular (in a muscle), subcutaneously (under the skin).

Whilst being steamed inside a steam box, detoxification of the body takes place through the breaking down of toxins and heavy metals, that is inside a persons body, the Ozone, at the same time through the release of oxygen helps to rebuild new and healthy body cells, tissues, organs and ultimately a healthier bodily system, resulting in overall wellness and a better quality of life.

Ozone therapy has been utilized and extensively and studied for many decades altogether. Medical Ozone is used to disinfect and treat disease and has literally been around for over 150 years. Its effects are proven, consistent and with minimal side effects and known to treat as many as 114 diseases.

Research and investigation of medical administration of ozone therapy, over the last 100 years, has shown that virtually no pathogen (virus, bacteria, fungus and parasite) or any abnormal and diseased body cells are resistant to treatment through ozone.

Used to treat infections, wounds and multiple diseases, Ozones effectiveness has been well documented. It has even been used to disinfect our drinking water before the turn of the last century.

Ozone therapy has been in use since the 1800s and in 1896 the genius Nikola Tesla patented the first O3 generator in the US, later forming the “Tesla Ozone Company.”

In 1856, just 16 years after its discovery, ozone was first used in a health care setting to disinfect operating rooms and sterilize surgical instruments.

In 1892 The Lancet published an article describing the administration of ozone for treatment of tuberculosis. During World War I, ozone was tested at Queen Alexandra Military Hospital in London as a possible disinfectant for wounds. The gas was applied directly to wounds for as long as 15 minutes. This resulted in damage to both bacterial cells and human tissue. Other sanitizing techniques, such as irrigation with antiseptics, were found preferable. By the end of the 19th century the use of ozone to disinfect drinking water of bacteria and viruses was well established in mainland Europe.

During the first world war (1914-18) doctors familiar with O3's antibacterial properties, and with few other medical resources available to them applied it topically to infected wounds and discovered O3 not only remedied infection, but also had hemodynamic and anti-inflammatory properties.

In the late 1980s, reports had emerged that German physicians were successfully treating HIV patients with 03-AHT (Autohemotherapy).             Please read the article for more info…

    What is Ozone

Ozone O3, is a highly reactive gas, that is composed out of three oxygen atoms.

Ozone is both a natural and a man-made product that occurs in the

Earth's upper and lower atmospheres called the Stratosphere and the Troposphere.

     Stratospheric ozone:

is formed naturally through the interaction of (UV) radiation (solar ultraviolet) with molecular oxygen (O2). Oxygen(O2) moves and changes in a cycle, just as there is a cycle of water. Whilst the O2 molecules then interact with the UV radiation creating upper atmosphere Ozone O3

     Tropospheric or ground-level ozone:

what we breathe – is formed primarily from photochemical reactions between two major classes of air pollutants, volatile organic compounds (VOC) and nitrogen oxides (NOx).

The "ozone layer it self, is approximately 6 through 30 miles above the Earth's surface. It pretty much blends into and sits between the upper and lower atmosphere levels and helps to reduces the amount of harmful UV radiation reaching the Earth's surface.

The entire process of ozone production starts on the ground level where Oxygen is released during the photosynthesis process of land plants (such as shrubs, flowers and trees) and ocean phytoplankton (mostly unicellular diatoms), as well as lightning, which rises up in the atmosphere, first through the Troposphere rising into the Stratosphere about 25-30 miles above the earth.

At this atmospheric level the oxygen (O2) is energized by a the ultraviolet spectrum of the sun, leading to ozone(O3) production.

Because Ozone is heavier than air it begins to descend. Ozone immediately attaches itself to airborne particles if it contacts them, oxidizing them, and thus cleaning the air. If it encounters water vapor, Ozone can attach itself to it, forming hydrogen peroxide. Through natural processes, both rain and snow contain hydrogen peroxide. This is why plants grow better from rainwater than from irrigation as it contains the added hydrogen peroxide element and benefits the plant.

Although some stratospheric ozone is transported into the troposphere, and some VOC and NOx occur naturally, the majority of ground-level ozone is the result of reactions of man-made VOC and NOx. Significant sources of VOC are chemical plants, gasoline pumps, oil-based paints, autobody shops, and print shops. Nitrogen oxides result primarily from high temperature combustion. Significant sources are power plants, industrial furnaces and boilers, and motor vehicles.

At ground level, ozone attaches itself to all pollutants, oxidizing them and cleaning the air.

Ozone has incorrectly been blamed for contributing to smog levels. Ozone is present in smog only transiently at around 25 parts per hundred million.

    Ozone Definition:

Ozone (/ˈoʊzoʊn/), or trioxygen, is an inorganic molecule with the chemical formula O
. It is a pale blue gas with a distinctively pungent smell. It is an allotrope of oxygen that is much less stable than the diatomic allotrope O
2, breaking down in the lower atmosphere to O
2 (dioxygen). Ozone is formed from dioxygen by the action of ultraviolet (UV) light and electrical discharges within the Earth's atmosphere. It is present in very low concentrations throughout the latter, with its highest concentration high in the ozone layer of the stratosphere, which absorbs most of the Sun's ultraviolet (UV) radiation.

Ozone's odour is reminiscent of chlorine, and detectable by many people at concentrations of as little as 0.1 ppm in air. Ozone's O3 structure was determined in 1865. The molecule was later proven to have a bent structure and to be diamagnetic. In standard conditions, ozone is a pale blue gas that condenses at progressively cryogenic temperatures to a dark blue liquid and finally a violet-black solid. Ozone's instability with regard to more common dioxygen is such that both concentrated gas and liquid ozone may decompose explosively at elevated temperatures or fast warming to the boiling point.[5] It is therefore used commercially only in low concentrations.

Ozone is a powerful oxidant (far more so than dioxygen) and has many industrial and consumer applications related to oxidation. This same high oxidizing potential, however, causes ozone to damage mucous and respiratory tissues in animals, and also tissues in plants, above concentrations of about 0.1 ppm. While this makes ozone a potent respiratory hazard and pollutant near ground level, a higher concentration in the ozone layer (from two to eight ppm) is beneficial, preventing damaging UV light from reaching the Earth's surface…

    Live for OZONE

    Live, Just better

Disease = the absence of oxygen in an acidic environment

Oxygen therapy is a form of treatment based upon the premise that all Harmful bacteria, viruses and fungi (e.g. flu, AIDs, candida and Cancerous cells) are anaerobic – they can only thrive in low Oxygen Environments. Conversely, to maintain health, the human body requires an abundant supply of oxygen.

In essence, therefore, it is the lack of oxygen on a cellular level that causes disease. The greater oxygen levels in our bodies, the more Resistant we are to harmful pollutants. This is the Oxygen therapy in principle.

Ozone is nature’s way to clear pollution from environment; it can also clean up our internal environment, helping us to lead healthy, energetic and fuller longer lives. When You Cleanse Your Body – You’ll Undo Years of Toxic Lifestyle Damage. Ozone is a most powerful cleansing agent, and in combination with hyperthermia, raising body temperature, induces the healing crisis.

It is a tool for the body to accomplish its own healing.

Every cell in the body for oxidation, the process, needs oxygen, which breaks down toxins and destroys damaged cells so that they can be excreted in sweat and urine. The Ozone steam combination offers a safe natural and effective treatment as an alternative to modern medicines, by increasing Oxygen supply to the human body.

Steam gets blown into the cabinet, raising body temperature, opening pores and allowing pure ozone to enter the skin. As the skins pores open up and the metabolism raises, toxins will be oxidized in the fat, blood and lymph. This treatment boosts all processes of the body and activates metabolism. Toxins are excreted, causing rapid detoxification and aiding in natural healing, cleansing and weight loss.

It destroys any virus, bacteria, fungus, yeast, mould or cancer cell it comes into contact with. The main organ of detoxification and breaking down fat in the body is the liver. This means that an overloaded liver can cause weight gain. When the liver is overburdened, it can’t filter poisons out of the blood. One of the first places that this shows up is the skin ( our biggest organ) –which is also an important in eliminating waste – causing acne and rashes as well as cellulite. The majority of toxins are held in the lymph and fat. The skin is the largest organ of elimination, and toxins are sweated out.

Hyperthermia, the false fever reaction, simulates the body’s own defense Mechanism. With the addition of ozone, the two treatments are doubly powerful, toxins are rapidly oxidized and eliminated, and the fat containing them is no longer needed and also leaves. Skin becomes smooth, soft and free of blemishes.

Ozone is mainly used as supportive therapy, patient continues existing treatment, adds ozone, helps to control or cure disease or symptoms, including pain. Ozone therapy also reduces adverse effects from using medical drugs.

Even if you live a generally healthy life, ozone therapy can help with the reduction of cellulite, weight loss, depression, stress, loss of memory, general relaxation, detoxification, sports injury recovery, pain management and the rejuvenation of your body.

    Detail Info -OZONE THERAPY

WARNING : Cocoon Ozone Therapy is so good for you, it can be addictive.

Human beings are meant to breathe an average of nine thousand liters of oxygen per day, however most people only breathe about one third of this. Aside from exposure to polluted air, stressful lifestyles result in the heart beating quicker and breathing more rapid and shallow.

Ozone therapy is based on the premise that insufficient oxygen to the body’s cell’s & tissues is a major cause of poor health.

The ozone/steam combination offers a safe, natural and effective treatment, by detoxifying and increasing oxygen-supply to the human body.

How the Personal Ozone/Steam Sauna Works

The person will be sitting in a tailor-made capsule for about 30 minutes – Steam inside the cabinet creates hyperthermia, raising body temperature, opening pores and allowing pure oxygen to enter the skin.

As the skin’s pores open up and the metabolism raises, toxins will be oxidized in the fat, blood and lymph. This powerful treatment will boost all physical processes of the body and activate metabolism. It addresses the healing of various skin diseases, and health problems.

Black or brown liquid-like toxins may be excreted from the body, causing rapid detoxification, and aiding the body in natural healing, cleansing and weight-loss. Ozone is a strong oxidant, destroying any virus, bacteria, yeast, or cancer cell it comes into contact with. Ozone works by proximity – it must touch its target to transfer energy, and break down the pathogen. For this reason ozone-therapy must be repeated over time, to ensure that the body is flooded with oxygen, and there are no hiding places left un-cleaned.

    Ozone Therapy benefits:

    • Improves blood-circulation.
    • Strengthened immune-system.
    • Increases oxygen-levels in the blood.
    • Purifies the blood and lymph.
    • Destroys viruses, bacteria, candida and fungus.
    • Enhances the body’s own healing-process.
    • Reduces pain and inflammation.
    • Relaxes and loosens muscles by reducing the build up of toxic lactic acid.
    • Speeds up the metabolism resulting in a loss of 200-450 calories in a 20-minute session.
