Crystal healing is an holistic, non-invasive, vibrational energy-based system of healing. That is, it treats the whole person and their integrated energy system. It is therapeutic and deeply relaxing. The technique uses precisely placed crystals either on and/or around the physical body. Crystals may also be laid in precise geometric patterns (grids) within the environment. Crystals absorb, focus, direct, detoxify, shift and diffuse energy as they interact with the electromagnetic forces and subtle vibrations within the subtle human or environmental energy field. In the context of crystal healing, illness is a dis-ease, the final manifestation of spiritual, environmental, physiological, psychological, emotional, mental, karmic, or ancestral imbalance or distress. Healing means bringing mind, body, spirit and environment back into harmony, restoring the body’s natural rhythm and equilibrium. It does not imply a cure.
What does a session involve – how long, what to expect etc.

The length of a session depends on the particular technique being applied. A session where crystals are laid on the chakras (energy vortexes linking the physical and subtle energy bodies) to restore balance may last twenty minutes to half an hour. A session where crystals are laid in more complex patterns that deal with underlying causes of dis-ease may last from one to one and a half hours. But in all sessions you can expect to have a chat first – and most probably a history taken – so that the therapist obtains a full picture. (Holistic therapy takes into account lifestyle, emotional, mental and social factors.)
You will then be made comfortable and warm on a healing couch or on the floor. You will be asked to close your eyes and relax. Crystals will be placed on or around your body. The position may be dowsed for with a pendulum or intuited. The crystals will be left in place while you relax and breathe gently. You may feel a tingling sensation, your body may jerk as it releases patterns held in your muscles, you may even laugh or cry as repressed emotions are let go, or you may feel nothing at all except a sense of peace and pleasurable relaxation suffusing your body. The therapist may gently add or remove crystals during the session. When the session is over, the crystals will be removed and you will be encouraged to ground yourself firmly in your body once more.
Pranic Healing is a highly evolved and tested system of energy medicine developed by GrandMaster Choa Kok Sui that utilizes prana to balance, harmonize and transform the body’s energy processes. Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life-force. This invisible bio-energy or vital energy keeps the body alive and maintains a state of good health. In acupuncture, the Chinese refer to this subtle energy as Chi. It is also called Ruach or the Breath of Life in Hebrew.
Pranic Healing is a simple yet powerful & effective system of no-touch energy healing. It is based on the fundamental principles that the body is a self-repairing living entity that possesses the ability to heal itself and that the healing process is accelerated by increasing this life force that is readily available from the sun, air and ground to address physical & emotional imbalances. Master Choa Kok Sui says “Life Energy or prana is all around us. It is pervasive; we are actually in an ocean of Life Energy. Based on this principle, a healer can draw in Pranic Energy or Life Energy from the surroundings.”
Pranic Healing requires no drugs, gadgets, not even physical contact with the subject. Physical contact is not required because the practitioner is working on the bioplasmic or energy body and not directly on the physical body. This energy body, or aura, is the mold or blueprint that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body. It is the energy body that absorbs life energy and distributes it throughout the physical body, to the muscles, organs, glands, etc. The reason Pranic Healing works on the energy body is that physical ailments first appear as energetic disruptions in the aura before manifesting as problems in the physical body.
Acupuncture is a holistic health technique that stems from Traditional Chinese Medicine practices in which trained practitioners stimulate specific points on the body by inserting thin needles into the skin.
Today acupuncture is one of the most popular practices of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in the West. TCM is a complimentary health approach that first originated in ancient China more than 2,500 years ago and has been evolving ever since.
To treat a wide variety of diseases, pain and stress-related symptoms, practitioners of TCM use holistic techniques that include acupuncture, herbal medicines, tai chi, qi gong, massage therapy, and various “mind and body practices.”
The use of acupuncture and other TCM techniques has risen steadily in the U.S and other Western countries over the past several decades. According to a large survey done on complementary health approaches by the National Institute of Health in 2007, in the U.S. alone at least 3.1 million people had tried acupuncture in 2007. The survey showed that the number of visits to acupuncturists tripled between 1997 and 2007. (1)
The first question most people ask me is, “Does acupuncture hurt?”
Surprisingly, although needles are used in acupuncture, treatments are relatively pain-free. In fact, one of the most popular uses of acupuncture is to reduce chronic pain throughout the body in a natural way, without the need for medications that can cause unwanted side effects.
Most of the studies investigating acupuncture to date have examined whether acupuncture can safely reduce pain. However, it’s expected that in the next several years, researchers will continue to study whether or not it might help with other conditions, too – including anxiety, depression, inflammation, hot flashes, side effects of chemotherapy and insomnia.
What Is Acupuncture Able to Treat?
Currently, acupuncture is used to treat conditions like:
muscle spasms and pain
chronic back problems and pain
headaches, including reducing the frequency and intensity of migraines
Sound is created as the vibratory motion of particles and matter. The vibration that produce sound represent an energy that is found throughout nature, not only within ourselves and our world, but far beyond, into the realms of moons, stars, and the Universe. Due to the limitations of our physiology, we are able to year but a fraction of the universal, unseen power which is able to bring about profound changes on many levels – physical, emotional, and spiritual. By harnessing the vibratory energies of your own voice, and as sounds from the world around, making them resonate through your body and mind bring about healing and transformation.
The origins of healing by sound and music can be traced into prehistory and beyond, into the realms of myth, religion, and the memory of the soul. The power of sound goes as far back in time as the “In the beginning was the Word-“ However one chooses to translate this meaning we all agree, the importance of vibration and the word has in manifesting how we wish to create our world. In all religions and philosophies word, prayer and chanting has been used and acknowledged as a powerful tool to access higher states of consciousness. The Sufis considered Hu to be the creative sound. The Tibetans considered the notes of A, F sharp and G to be powerful sacred sounds. Amen used in our prayers which derived from the word “Aum” which represented all of the sounds which the human voice was capable of expressing and therefore associated with the creative principles designating God. Pythagoras taught that sound was a creative force and that music held therapeutic benefits to the body. The Mystery Schools following these teachings associated rhythm with the body, melody with the emotions, and harmony lifted consciousness to spiritual awareness.
Deepak Chopra said that in order for consciousness to affect matter, it had to take place on a sub-atomic level. In other words, the spaces between particles. The power of sound to effect matter can be seen by photographs of Emoto’s water crystals, or sand on a drum vellum. If our body is made up of 80% water, then we have some idea of how sound vibration can affect us
This workshop will teach you how to use your voice to access and clear all the wounds of your past that are deeply submerged in your subconscious. Through sound and toning, or body-voice as I would like to call it, it will help you to express yourself, bring about inner harmony and teach you to play again. We will focus on the eight major energy centres of the body using vowels, overtoning, name playing, mantra, prayer and movement to free the patterns of speech and breathing that we have taken on over time through our wounding.
Our intention is to activate your life force energy find your authentic voice and sing your soul song!
